Have you always wanted to make a pilgrimage of faith to the homeland of Jesus and the biblical patriarchs?

Do you want to see the pages of Scripture come to life before your eyes?

Are you ready to dig into the Jewish soil of Christian history?

Join us on 12-day journey to the Holy Land that you will treasure for years to come.

My wife and I went to Israel with Justin. We not only got to see and walk in places where key events in the Bible took place, but there was a spiritual dimension that Justin brought to our trip that allowed us to connect with the story of the Bible in a way that made it even more real and alive.

FAQ's

Can anyone register for this tour?

Yes. But we recommend that you're comfortable with our mission and statement of faith, otherwise you may want to consider a different tour that is more in alignment with your views and values.

What are the COVID restrictions?

There are none.

When should I book my flight to arrive/depart?

First, it is recommended that you wait to book your flight until approximately 3 months prior to our departure in case there is an unexpected event before that time and the tour is cancelled.

Second, when you do book your flight, you will want to schedule your flight to depart no later than 11/6/24 (so that you will arrive into TLV no later 11/7/24) and your return flight on 11/17/24. Extra nights at our first and/or last hotels listed in our itinerary can be arranged for an extra cost if you'd like to arrive into Tel Aviv a day or two early or return a day or two later. Many people prefer the comfort of arriving a day early and using that time to see Tel Aviv-Jaffa or staying a day later in Jerusalem to take in more of what the city has to offer.

Third, depending on when the majority of people in our group arrive, there will be a shuttle transfer from the airport to the hotel for those participants. The same will be true for our return to the airport from Jerusalem. If this ends up not applying to you, taxis are readily available from and to the airport. Plan on approximately $40-50/each way. Also, Israel does not have Uber, but they do have Gett, which is popular among both locals and visitors.

Is There a Minimum (or Maximum) Age to Participate?

No, but we recommend this trip for those no younger than middle school and for those who can easily handle walking approximately 1-2 miles a day, some of which is on unpaved paths and up and down centuries old streets in the Old City of Jerusalem. Please note that children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

How Is Lodging Determined?

Registration pricing is based on double occupancy. You can add a third person to your room (you will each have your own bed), but the cost of the trip will remain the same for each participant. Unfortunately 4 people in a room cannot be accommodated. If you're traveling alone and interested in rooming with another single traveler, please let us know and we will do our best to try to pair you up with someone. Single occupancy is available for an upcharge of $1160.

What Documentation Is Necessary for Travel to Israel?

A valid passport with an expiration date no less than 6 months after the return date of the trip is required. There are no exceptions to this policy. A travel visa is not required.

Am I Required to Join for the Entire Trip?

No, but the best experience will be to stay the whole time. There is no cost adjustment if you arrive late or leave early.

What Kind of Weather Should I Expect?

Average high temperatures in May range from the mid-70s to mid-80s, with little precipitation.

How Safe Is Traveling to Israel?

In 2022, approximately 2.5 million people visited Israel. To our knowledge, they all returned home safely. While we can't guarantee that the same will happen for you, your chances are very likely that they will be. For more perspective on this, read Is It Safe To Go To Israel?

Should I Purchase Travel Insurance?

For your peace of mind in the event of an emergency, you may want to consider some type of coverage. Here are a couple of providers you can get a quote from:

Will I Get Any Pre-Trip Preparation Info and Recommended Reading Materials?

Yes. You'll be provided a list of packing recommendations. We also suggest that you consider reading any one of the following books. If you're interested in getting excited about the trip, read Finding Jesus in Israel by Buck Storm. If you're interested in digging into the Jewish/Old Testament foundations of the Christian faith, read The Forgotten Jesus: How Western Christians Should Follow an Eastern Rabbi by Robby Gallaty. And if you're interested in gaining a better understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, we strongly recommend reading Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor by Yossi Klein Halevi. It is also highly recommended that you watch HOPE IN THE HOLY LAND: Delving Beneath the Surface of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, an award-winning documentary co-created & produced by Justin that released in May 2021.

Who Do I Contact If I Have Questions or Special Requests?

Contact Justin Kron at justin@kesherproject.com and he will get back to you at his earliest convenience. If it requires something that only our tour provider (Trans-global Travel) can answer, Justin will interact directly with them on your behalf.

Walk about Zion, go around her,
   count her towers,
consider well her ramparts,
   view her citadels,
that you may tell of them
   to the next generation.

For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end.
